Enjoy nature while getting a little exercise. Join a group of individuals on a relaxing recreational bike ride on the Spring Creek Greenway Trail. Ride through a beautiful prairie while getting a glimpse of Spring Creek meandering through the preserve.
This ride is the third of four Rec Bike Club rides this fall. Other rides are as follows:
- 5:30-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 8, at Centennial Trail (7.2 miles)
- 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, at Messenger Marsh (5.5 miles)
- 10-11:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, at Wauponsee Glacial Trail — Sugar Creek Access (8.5 miles)
Those who participate in all four rides will receive a promotional rechargeable bike taillight.

Registration required by Tuesday, Oct. 11: 815-727-8700.
The bike ride will leave from the parking lot at Hadley Valley Preserve – Route 6 Access.
The route will be approximately 7.1 miles along crushed limestone trails. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request on-line no later than 48 hours before the program.
