Event details

Celebrate National Hiking Day by bringing the family for a hike as evening turns into night in the forest. Bundle up and strap on your favorite hiking boots as we set out in search of our elusive owl friends. Discover just how many species reside in Will County and how to differentiate them. Learn how big they can get, what they look like and where you can find them. Afterwards, warm up by a fire and enjoy roasting marshmallows.
