The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Join other birders as we learn, explore and search for birds. This hike will highlight birds that live in the woodlands and fields of the preserve around the nature center. Fall is a great time for bird-watching as the bugs are gone, but the birds are still active. Bring your binoculars and favorite bird field guide.

Event Requirements

No registration required.

Bring your binoculars and favorite bird field guide.

Participants will enjoy a hike of 1.5 to 2 miles on paved and natural surface trails across uneven terrain.  Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
