Come out to enjoy nature’s fireworks – those blinking, twinkling fireflies. As the sun sets, learn what makes fireflies so special. Surprise! It’s more than just their glow! Create some glow of your own before heading out to get up close to the twinkling show.
Event requirements
Registration is required by Tuesday, July 11: 708-946-2216.
Wearing pants and closed-toed shoes that can get muddy is recommended.
The hike will be 1 mile to 1.5 miles on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
