Flowers for Mothers Hike

Do something special with your mother this Mother’s Day! Take time to stop and smell the wildflowers. For only a brief time, spring wildflowers fill the forest floor with a variety of color.
Hike and explore with a naturalist through Messenger Woods, which is famous for its flower diversity and abundance in the springtime. Get all your senses ready to learn how to ID the many wildflowers and what makes them special.

Meet at the Hawthorn Grove Shelter.
Hiking may be as far as 1 mile and will be on natural surface trails over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
