Celebrate Unplug Illinois Day by ditching the screens for nets, bug jars and binoculars. Join a naturalist exploring different habitats to see what we can catch. Once we harness some inspiration, we’ll get building with LEGO. The strong STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) aspect will be our little secret.

LEGO building will take place in the accessible nature center. The hike of less than 1 mile will take place outdoors on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
