Spring means bugs are back! Join a naturalist to explore the woods around Hidden Oaks Nature Center in search of the first bugs of spring. Learn about some of the more commonly seen insects and why they are important. Once we harness some inspiration, we’ll get building with LEGO.
The strong STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) aspect will be our little secret as we build our insect critters. LEGO builds will be on display for the entire month!

Be sure to dress for the weather.
The hike will be less than 1 mile on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. The LEGO activity will take place indoors or outdoors depending on the weather. Please check your email for program updates. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
