Remember the bear that went over the mountain to see what he could see? For this program, we are going to be like that bear and see what we can see on a November hike in Hammel Woods. Join a naturalist for a slow, guided hike that is more interested in discovery than destination. As we walk through Hammel Woods, we’ll seek out what nature has to offer. Possibilities include birds; interesting smells and sounds; tracks; and nests, and maybe we’ll flip a few logs, all showing the preserve is a busy place no matter the season.

Meet at Hidden Shelter at Hammel Woods — Route 59 Access.
The hike will be less than 2 miles on paved trails. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
