Remember the bear that went over the mountain to see what he could see? For this program, we are going to be like that bear and see what we can see during a crisp February morning hike at Rock Run Preserve. Join a naturalist for a guided hike that is more focused on discovery than destination. As we walk through the preserve, we’ll seek out what nature has to offer. Possibilities include birds; interesting smells and sounds; tracks; and nests. Maybe we’ll flip a few logs, showing the preserve is a busy place no matter the season.

The hike will be less than 2 miles on paved. Meet at the Black Road Access Shelter. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this workday should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the workday.
