Come to Four Rivers to become an official junior ranger! Have some fun and learn about America’s first national heritage area, the Illinois and Michigan Canal, through fun family activities. You’ll receive a junior ranger badge and a whole lot of knowledge that you can share with others about the Illinois and Michigan Canal. This program is part of the 175th anniversary celebration of the opening of the I&M Canal.
Event requirements

This is an inclusive program, welcoming individuals of all abilities. This program will take place in an accessible facility. Be sure to use caution while walking outdoors as snow and ice may be present on the paths and in parking lots. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
