Owls are so mysterious! They sleep during the day, wake up at dusk and are always hiding in plain sight. But will we hear them or see them? That’s the mystery! Find out which owls can be found in Illinois, then enjoy a guided hike on the trail to listen for owls.

Registration required by Tuesday, Dec. 26: 708-946-2216.
Dress for the weather. Meet at the Plum Creek Shelter next to the big hill.
The hike will be up to 2 miles on uneven trail surfaces. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
