Hidden Water Hunt
Age: All ages.
Location: Hidden Oaks Nature Center
This ongoing event will be held from Friday, Sept. 1, to Saturday, Sept. 30. Hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays to Saturdays and noon to 4 p.m. Sundays.
Water is an essential resource for all living things on our planet. World Rivers Day is Sept. 24, and we are celebrating all month long. How much do you conserve water? Head out to our playscape along the trail to Hidden Lakes Trout Farm to find out. There are hidden water drops along the way with tips on how to be more sustainable and conserve water. After the hike, check back inside with the nature center front desk to see if you found them all and earn a sweet treat.
If you find yourself newly inspired to conserve water, you can sign up for our Paint and Take a Rain Barrel program on Saturday, Sept. 30.
No registration required.
Hidden Oaks Nature Center is an accessible facility. Trails are on natural surfaces across uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
