Event details
Get a head start on your summer fishing adventures! Learn rod-and-reel fishing basics in this two-hour workshop covering fundamental fishing skills, including how to put together a pole, knot tying, casting and securing hooks. Safety and ethics will also be covered. Program participants will gain hands-on experience while fishing along the shore in the second hour. Everything needed for the program, including bait, will be provided.

Shoreline fishing and paved trails are easily accessible. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request on-line no later than 48 hours before the program.
