The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Birds are amazing and well-adapted animals. Learn about bird migration with a presentation and discussion indoors. Highlighted will be the birds that visit the Des Plaines River in the preserve during the winter. After the presentation, venture outside and view birds with spotting scopes and binoculars.

Feel free to bring your own binoculars, cameras and scopes. Birds can be seen from inside and outside the building.
