The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

What’s more fun in the winter than a good long hike only to cozy up to a campfire with your favorite comfort food? Strap on your hiking boots and bring your favorite mug to eat from and a can of your favorite soup (non-cream) and/or chili.

We will have two pots on the fire – one for chili and the other for soup. Add your contribution to the community pot. We’ll let it simmer over an open flame while we set out for the bridge! Once back, we can enjoy a piping hot mug of food warmed over the open fire. Given the nature of the program, dietary restrictions cannot be guaranteed.

Event Requirements

Registration required by Saturday, February 1: 708.946.2216.

Snowshoe rentals are available for the hike, if applicable. The hike is approximately 3 miles round trip on crushed limestone. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
