Fall often provides many picture-perfect moments. Join a naturalist as we hike one of the most picturesque preserves that offers a little bit of everything: prairie, savanna, forest and wetlands. Grab your camera or smartphone as we stop along the trail to capture the colorful scenery that Hickory Creek Preserve offers.

Registration required by Saturday, Nov. 4: 815-722-4121.
The program will begin at the preserve’s first pavilion, Shagbark Grove Shelter.
The hike will be 1 mile to 2 miles over uneven, natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
