Event details

It’s getting close to the end of summer, and the birds are starting to get restless about heading south. This can be a confusing time to birdwatch, because many young birds have grown enough to be as large as the adults, but don’t quite have the adult colors yet. Join us on this guided hike as we go through the varied habitats of Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve in search of late summer birds. Beginning birders are welcome as this is a great way to learn birds and birding.
