Join us to explore the Central Park Wetlands, a haven for amphibians, dragonflies, damselflies, birds and soil critters. Learn the names of some water-loving plants and animals and enjoy a craft and game.
Central Park Wetlands is at 30 N. Orchard Drive in Park Forest. The Wetlands Discovery Center is located on the west end of the bathhouse. This program is sponsored by the Thorn Creek Audubon Society.
Event requirements
Registration is required by Monday, May 29, and can be made by calling Thorn Creek Woods Nature Center at 708-747-6320.
Participants should be able to walk 1 mile outdoors on paved paths and boardwalks. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 708-747-6320.
