October is the perfect time to hang out by the fire and listen to a storyteller spin spooky and fun tales inspired by the people who called Illinois Country home. Enjoy tasty treats, listen for local wildlife and look to the skies for more stories. Walk around the island for an optional night hike.

Don’t forget to bring a camp chair or blanket to sit on.
Outdoor activities will take place on paved paths and natural surfaces across 1 mile of uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
