Event details
Stroll through Hammel Woods at dusk and explore the habitat of our local bat species. Discover some fascinating facts about these flying mammals along the way. After the hike, we will watch the bats emerge from their sleeping quarters to go out on their nightly hunt.

Meet at the stone pavilion. Please dress for the weather. This is an inclusive program, welcoming individuals of all abilities. This program will take place in low-light conditions.
This family-friendly hike will be 1.5 miles to 2 miles on paved and natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should mention their request when registering or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
