Stroll through Riverview Farmstead Preserve at dusk and explore the habitat of our local bat species. Discover some fascinating facts about these flying mammals along the way. We’ll end inside the 19th-century barn to hopefully get a glimpse of the Riverview bats before they start their nightly hunt.

Registration required by Tuesday, Aug. 23: 815-886-1467.
This family-friendly hike will be 1 mile to 1.5 miles on crushed limestone and natural trails with some uneven surfaces inside buildings. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 815.886.1467, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
