Event details
Walk through Messenger Woods at dusk and explore the habitat of our local bat species. Using echolocating technology, “listen” for bats as we hike. Discover some fascinating facts about these flying mammals along the way.

Registration required by Tuesday, July 25: 815-722-9301.
The family-friendly hike will be 1 mile to 1.5 miles on natural surfaces over uneven terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
