The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

***Due to the stay-at-home order issued by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that is in effect through April 30, this program has been canceled.***

Planting for pollinators is a great action to take to help our environment and it can be a fun family activity. Learn about the diversity of our local pollinating critters, the different plant characteristics they are attracted to, and the blooming season of each plant.

Event Requirements

Registration required by Tuesday, April 21: 815.722.9470.

The program may include an outdoor portion, so please dress for the weather and wear appropriate walking shoes. Activities will take place on paved trails and on uneven, natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
