***Due to the stay-at-home order issued by Gov. J.B. Pritzker that is in effect through April 30, this program has been canceled.***
Help celebrate the 50th anniversary of Earth Day by planting seeds of change and helping the Earth Day Network log 3.5 Billion Acts of Green in 2020! Stop by Isle a la Cache Museum to pick up a free packet of pollinator-friendly seeds to take home and plant.
You don’t need a big patch of land to have a pollinator garden! A few square feet in the yard or a couple of planters or flower pots on the porch will do the trick. Add water and sunshine and you’re on your way to providing critical food and habit for the pollinators that play an essential role in producing our food, clothing, medicines, healthy landscapes, and more! Thanks for doing your part!
One packet of seeds is provided per household, while supplies last.
No registration required.
Isle a la Cache Museum is an accessible facility. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this program should call 815.886.1467, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the program.
