How many countless times have you walked your dog around your neighborhood? Enrich yourself and your dog’s daily walks by joining a naturalist as we hike Rock Run with our furry friends. Let’s see what’s better — our dogs’ noses or our eyesight — as we keep a look out (or nose out) for wildlife that calls Rock Run home.
Event requirements
Registration required by Saturday, Nov. 11: 815-722-4121.
All dogs must be healthy, up to date on their rabies vaccines, friendly with other dogs and people and leashed the entire time. No exceptions.
The hike will be less than 2 miles on a paved trail. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this workday should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the workday.
