The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Kankakee Sands Preserve Route 113 Access

Project Status: Completed Fall 2016

Project Location: The project is located in Kankakee Sands Preserve, at the north side of Route 113 in Braidwood.

Project Description: The Route 113 Access project consists of creating an access area and trail at Kankakee Sands Preserve.

The proposed accessible access is to contain a vehicular parking lot, picnic shelter, latrine, information board and trail system. The 2.5-mile trail system will be multi-use limestone screenings.

Work was completed in December 2017.
