The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

DuPage River Trail Extension

Project Status: Completed Fall 2016

Project Location: The project is located at Knoch Knolls Park in Naperville, over the West Branch of the DuPage River.

Project Description: The DuPage River Trail extension project is the result of collaboration between the Forest Preserve District and the Naperville Park District. The $2.1 million project will extend the asphalt path 1 mile southwest from Knoch Knolls Park to the 95th Street bridge over the DuPage River. 

The trail extension will become part of a planned 40-mile DuPage River Trail system that is supported by 12 agencies in two counties, Will and DuPage.



The Forest Preserve District is dedicated to protecting, conserving, enhancing and promoting Will County's natural heritage for the educational, recreational and environmental benefit of present and future generations.
