What’s more fun than a winter hike in the preserves to get your blood pumping followed by a campfire with your favorite comfort food? Put on your hiking boots and bring your favorite mug and a can of soup or chili.
We will meet at the Hickory Creek Junction Shelter and let our food simmer on an open flame while we set out for the bridge. Once back, enjoy a piping hot mug of stick-to-your-ribs comfort food.
Registration required by Saturday, December 4: 708.534.8499.
Please dress for the weather as the entire program will be outdoors.
The hike will be approximately 1 mile to 2 miles round trip on a variety of surfaces, including pavement and uneven, natural terrain. Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to participate in this workday should mention their request when registering, or submit a request online no later than 48 hours before the workday.
