The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

Do you have a little more time on your hands these days? Are you looking to get started with composting? You don't have to wait until spring. In this Facebook Live program, we'll show you how to set up a worm bin composter. It's an easy way to divert your food scraps from the garbage and turn them into compost.

Interpretive naturalist Kate Caldwell will walk you through the process, including initial setup, how to care for the worms and how to use your finished compost.

The live stream will be pinned to the top of our Facebook page once we go live at noon.

Have a question? Drop it into the comments and we'll do our best to answer it in real time.

Please note, this is an online only event.

This is a great way to take a break during lunch and learn something new that is not only beneficial for the environment, but can do wonders for your garden.
