The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Event Details

***Please note this program is being offered virtually via Zoom.***

Upcycling is a great way to creatively reuse some of the waste we produce. In this series, you will follow along with an interpretive naturalist and make your own upcycled craft. Upon registering for this program, you will receive a list of materials and supplies needed to complete the project. As we go through step-by-step instructions, you will also learn a bit about the topic or craft we are creating, which might include facts, stories, photos, videos and more. Younger children can participate with assistance.

Since December’s craft will be book-page wreaths, we will chat about the waste we produce, whether books are obsolete and ways to use this technique to create refined items you will want around year after year.

Event Requirements

Registration required by Thursday, December 3: 815.722.9470.

The meeting ID and password for the Zoom session will be sent via email after registration.
