The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Request A Program

All schools attending in-person field trips at a Forest Preserve visitor center must have their students wear masks during their visit. Forest Preserve staff will wear masks while presenting in-person field trips.

Requests are time stamped and processed in a first-come, first-served order. Please note that submission of a request form does not guarantee a program reservation. Will County schools get a one week priority window.

Programs are offered Tuesdays through Fridays, September through June. Programs can start as early as 9 a.m. and conclude by 3 p.m.
