Snowshoeing

With a deep snowfall, snowshoeing provides a unique way to enjoy the beauty and peacefulness of a brisk winter day.

For those who would like to try snowshoeing, Monee Reservoir rents snowshoes for use at the preserve. Check snowshoeing conditions at Monee Reservoir by calling 708.534.8499. Those who have their own snowshoes can utilize many of our trails when snow covered.

Throughout the winter months, we offer several nature hikes that take place on snowshoes if conditions permit.
