Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve and Plum Creek Nature Center in Beecher are closed for preserve improvements.

Ice skating is offered on ponds at
Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve
in Beecher and
Monee Reservoir
when proper conditions exist.
Ice thickness is checked daily during the winter, and the ponds are cleared of debris if the ice is sufficiently thick for skating.
To inquire whether the pond at Monee Reservoir is open for ice skating, please call 708.534.8499.
