Sledding opportunities are offered at at
Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve in Beecher and
Forked Creek Greenway - Butcher Lane Access in Wilmington when proper conditions exist.
Sledding tubes can be rented at
Plum Creek Nature Center, which is located near the sledding hill. Guests can also bring their own sleds, but no steel runners, snowboards, or steerables are allowed. No dogs are allowed on the sledding hill. For current sledding conditions at Goodenow Grove Nature Preserve, call 708.946.2216.
The sledding hill at Forked Creek Greenway - Butcher Lane Access is not supervised nor monitored for snow conditions.
