Trail Location and Access

The Veterans Memorial Trail begins at 135th Street in Romeoville where it overlaps Centennial Trail and travels north 3.26 miles to Interstate 355. Centennial Trail splits off at I-355 heading east into Cook County. Veterans Memorial Trail continues north through Lemont to Internationale Parkway in Woodridge.

The trail is jointly owned and managed by the Forest Preserve District and the Village of Woodridge.

Trail Experience and Activities

The Veterans Memorial Trail is a hilly, paved linear trail and travels through woodland. It is ideal for the following activities:Trail Connections

Centennial Trail: The southern end of the trail connects to the 10.81-mile, linear paved Centennial Trail in Romeoville.

Southern DuPage County Regional Trail: The northern end of the trail connects to the 46-mile, multi-jurisdictional Southern DuPage County Regional Trail, which serves the communities of Aurora, Naperville, Woodridge, Darien, Bolingbrook, Downers Grove, Westmont, Clarendon Hills, Willowbrook, and Burr Ridge.
