Trail Location and Access

The Spring Creek Greenway Trail consists of two segments totaling 8.45 miles within Hadley Valley and Messenger Marsh.

The western segment may be accessed from the following locations: The eastern segment may be accessed from Messenger Marsh (South Bell Road, Homer Glen).

Trail Experience and Activities

The western segment of the Spring Creek Greenway Trail is a hilly, crushed limestone loop and linear trail and travels 5.01 miles through the woodland, savanna, and wetland of Hadley Valley. Download a map of Hadley Valley.

The eastern segment of the trail is a hilly, crushed limestone loop and linear trail and travels 3.44 miles through the woodland and savanna of Messenger Marsh. Download a map of Messenger Marsh.

Pilcher Park Trails: Trail connections in Joliet connect the segment of the Spring Creek Greenway Trail at Hadley Valley to Pilcher Park trails owned by the Joliet Park District.
