Briscoe Mounds
Preservation
The 39-acre Briscoe Mounds was acquired between 1937 and 1989.
The preserve is part of the Des Plaines River preservation system, which conserves more than 2,400 acres of land.
The preserve is adjacent to the State of Illinois' prehistoric
Briscoe Mounds archaeological site

Natural Resources
Briscoe Mounds protects a diversity of habitats, including forest, prairie, and wetland.
