The three-mile, 790-acre Forked Creek Greenway begins at the Wauponsee Glacial Trail on Route 102 in Ritchie and protects both sides of Forked Creek downstream into Wilmington at Forsythe Woods, except a 1/2-mile gap south of Ballou Road. The Forsythe Woods access area on Kahler Road at the northern end of the Greenway was acquired in 1974, and continuing land assemblage has proceeded ever since.
