The project is located at Teale Woods, at the intersection of Theodore and Center Streets in Joliet.
Project Description:
The Teale Woods Improvements project consisted of the development of a pedestrian entrance at the northwest corner of Teale Woods (Theodore and Center Street), with a 0.3-mile, paved, multi-use asphalt trail extending to the southeast corner of the site along Broadway Street.
This project was funded by the Forest Preserve District's Capital Improvement Program.
Construction was completed in October 2011.
