Sand Ridge Savanna Preserve Tree and Brush Control
Project Description:
The Sand Ridge Savanna Preserve Tree and Brush Control project consists of invasive tree and brush control work (62 acres) in the remnant sand savannas and wetlands of Sand Ridge Savanna Preserve. This work will be coupled with prescription burn management to enhance the natural area quality in these remnants. An access route will be enhanced along the perimeter of the preserve for burn management purposes.
Work is planned for September 2011
through March 2012.
