Four Rivers Marina Improvements
Project Description:
The Four Rivers Marina Improvements project consists of improvements to the marina at Four Rivers Environmental Education Center to serve the Forest Preserve District's long-range educational goals and to provide the Channahon Fire Protection District with river access for rescue and emergency events. The improvements include pavement and walkway modifications and the installation of an open-air shelter and two boat lifts.
This project is funded by the Forest Preserve District's Capital Improvement Program, the Channahon Fire Protection District, and donations from the community.
Construction is planned for
September 2011 through June 2012.
