The project is located at Keepataw Preserve, between Bluff Road and the Des Plaines River in DuPage Township.
Project Description:
The Keepataw Preserve Habitat Restoration project consisted of invasive brush removal and control, installation of native seed, and prescribed fire in a 9.0-acre section of Keepataw Preserve. This section is located east of the habitat restoration work initiated in 2011.
This project was funded by the Forest Preserve District of Will County.
Work was completed in December 2011.
