Sand Ridge Savanna Preserve Habitat Enhancement (Completed November 2013)
The project was located at Sand Ridge Savanna Preserve, south of Route 113 and east of Essex Road in Custer Township.
The Sand Ridge Savanna Preserve Habitat Enhancement project consisted of natural resource management activities to enhance the quality of natural areas and improve wildlife habitat at Sand Ridge Savanna Preserve. These activities included invasive tree and brush control, herbaceous invasive species control, and prescription burn management.
Work began in November 2012 and was completed in November 2013.
