Before super stores and modern technology, people did get what they needed. But, in the 1700s, it just took a lot more work. The Isle a la Cache Brigade is a volunteer group that consists of reenactors who represent voyageurs, courier du bois, French women, Métis and Natives of the 18th century. On any given Living History Sunday, you may find potters, musket shooters, cooks, seamstresses, or craftsman sharing their talents. It’s history up close and personal!
