The Will County Board consists of 27 members, 3 each from 9 Board Districts. Will County operates under the County Executive form of government, whereby the County Executive is elected at large and is responsible for day-to-day administration, and the County Board is the legislative body responsible for establishing policy. In accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois, the members of the County Board also serve as members of the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Will County.
