Board of Commissioners

The Will County Board consists of 27 members, 3 each from 9 Board Districts. Will County operates under the County Executive form of government, whereby the County Executive is elected at large and is responsible for day-to-day administration, and the County Board is the legislative body responsible for establishing policy. In accordance with the Statutes of the State of Illinois, the members of the County Board also serve as members of the Board of Commissioners of the Forest Preserve District of Will County.

Commissioner Winfrey has been a member of the Board of Commissioners since 2009. She serves on the Operations Committee for the Forest Preserve District.

Commissioner Winfrey also serves on the County Board's Capital Improvements and Public Works & Transportation Committees.

Bio:
Commissioner Stewart has been a member of the Board of Commissioners since 1996. He serves on the Executive and Land Acquisition Committees for the Forest Preserve District.

Commissioner Stewart also serves on the County Board's Executive and Judicial Committees, and as the Board's Minority Whip.

Commissioner Brooks has been a member of the Board of Commissioners since 2008. He serves on the Land Acquisition Committee for the Forest Preserve District.
